Weekend in Durham Day 1

Yesterday I travelled up to Durham to see my boyfriend Tom who is finishing his masters. Tom and I have been together for 3 years long distance so we see each other once a month during term time (since I’m in London and he’s in durham but spend a lot of summer together which is great 😀

He is the BEST ! 🙂

We went out for breakfast at Bill’s restaurant which we haven’t done in a long time so I was really excited to eat some pancakes and fruit so much for healthy diet

I got pancakes with strawberries and bananas whilst Tom got bacon, avocado and poached eggs on toast, they were both delicious!

FullSizeRender.jpg-3.jpegAfter stuffing ourselves with the amazing pancakes, we went shopping a bit. I was looking for some smart casual wear because I am working at a GP (house doctor) for the next month and I also have some placements organised. But I didn’t really find anything apart from some super comfy high waisted black jeans from Topshop and a cute top to wear on my friends birthday this Friday.

We also went to Waterstones bookshop and they had so many medical nonfiction autobiographical books which was really great to see!

This one really stood out to me! I now regret not buying it !

After this we headed back to go to the gym which is in Tom’s apartment and did an insane ab workout by Ashley Conrad  after a 4km run on the treadmill.

Love getting back into working out! I now need to sort out a meal prep plan – any recommendations on how to?

Hope you all had a great day! 🙂

What did you guys get up to today?

Do you struggle finding smart/casual clothing?
